Returns & Exchanges

INCORRECT OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS 

(1) AN INCORRECT ITEM 

We apologise if an incorrect item has been mailed out. 

Please kindly contact us at sales@merlingoldsmith.com or WhatsApp to notify us of the situation within 3 days upon successful delivery. 

Arrangements and advice on the exchange process of items will be provided through the channels above.

If the item is returned through mailing, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the returned parcel is trackable and insured. We will not be liable for any packaging/postage fees incurred. 

(2) A DEFECTIVE ITEM

We apologise if you have received a defective item. 

Please kindly contact us at sales@merlingoldsmith.com or WhatsApp with pictorial evidence of the defect within 3 day upon successful delivery. 

We will review the defect and further advise you through the channels above. 

The following are not considered as manufacturing defects; 

  1. Manual measurements with 1-3mm difference from the stated measurement; and
  2. Slight colour discrepancies arising from differences in screen resolutions. 

If the item is returned through mailing, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the returned parcel is trackable and insured. We will not be liable for any packaging/postage fees incurred. 

EXCHANGE

We are sorry to hear that your purchase did not fit you well. 

For local orders, please bring your item back to our store within 14 business days upon successful delivery. Please find our address at the bottom of the page.

For overseas orders, please kindly contact us at sales@merlingoldsmith.com or WhatsApp within 7 days upon successful delivery. 

There will be strictly no refunds, any remaining balance will be forfeited. 

All items must be in brand new condition, i.e., unworn with the tags attached. Sale of personalised products, special orders and custom made orders are not eligible for exchange. 

If the item is returned through mailing, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the returned parcel is trackable and insured. We will not be liable for any packaging/postage fees incurred. 

RETURNS 

Returns are done on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at sales@merlingoldsmith.com or WhatsApp with your order number and return request within 7 days upon successful delivery. Do kindly seek our confirmation prior to returning your order. 

If the return request is approved, please ensure all items are in brand new condition, i.e., unworn with the tags attached. Items that do not fulfil these criteria will be rejected duly. 

Sale of personalised products, special orders and custom made orders are not eligible for return. 

A restocking fee of SGD5.00 per item will be imposed. 

If the item is returned through mailing, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the returned parcel is trackable and insured. We will not be liable for any lost packages and any packaging/postage fees incurred. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
